Kitchen Collective 3D Virtual Tour
Last year the San Francisco Design Center, along with contributing showrooms, launched the Kitchen Collective Design competition. A range of the Bay Area’s top designers entered for a chance to design with materials from the eight contributors — and a chance to win!
And that winner was Kristin Riccio and her team. They were inspired by finishes offered at some of the SFDC’s showrooms and from those samples their concept blossomed. Like any project, narrative was key and the team worked on envisioning who the “clients” were, how they lived, the type of art they might collect, and what their kitchen would feel like.
Through a close working partnership with a digital designer, the winning plan was successfully transformed into a 3D virtual reality rendering.

The kitchen features a lush palette of deep maroons, mauves, and blush pinks which came to life with the help of finishes from Artistic Tile, Ann Sacks, Benjamin Moore, and Christopher Peacock.
