Designed by Gary Hutton in collaboration with Sandra Jordan, this entertaining and art barn on Sandra’s property in Sonoma County weaves together exquisite Prima Alpaca textiles with Sandra’s personal treasures from her homeland of Peru and around the world. The project includes a variety of beautiful textile applications including upholstery, pillows, window treatments, and draperies featuring 36 different hues.
Fundamentals of Weaving for Interior Textiles CEU
Fundamentals of Weaving for Interior Textiles by Brentano delves into the finer details of weaving in relation to many of the fabrics specified in today’s interiors. A basic overview of weaving terminology is presented along with the evolution and properties of the loom from antiquity to modern-day industrial. Detailed examinations of more of the commonly seen weave structures is also covered in this course. Although not required, it is highly recommended that individuals have taken Brentano’s Fibers and Yarns CEU prior to registering for this course.
