Job Responsibilities:
- • Service designers, architects and purchasing agents with product specification, procurement and
expediting for all commercial/hospitality accounts.
• Holds responsibility for managing customer proposal/order process, including:
o Maintaining accurate project files and ensures all information in showroom software
program is up to date.
o Preparing quotes and purchase orders verifying all information on PO and in purchasing
software is accurate prior to sending to vendor.
o Coordination with accounting and customer service team to facilitate vendor payments
and order tracking.
• Monitor order status and updates customers on progress or changes
Requirements:
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge and experience of working with interior designers, architects, specifiers and
purchasing agents to deliver commercial and contract hospitality projects.
• A deep understanding of the fabric specification process as it applies in the commercial and
contract hospitality market segments.
• Professionalism in all interactions with clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Proactive, flexible, team player who is comfortable working in a small company environment.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager/Expeditor in an Interior Design Firm preferred
• Driven and self-motivated, takes ownership of projects start to finish
• Highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Highly proficient with general office software including email, word processing, spreadsheets or
accounting software, video conferencing and social media platforms and be comfortable with
learning new systems quickly. Knowledge of CMS, CRM or project management systems is highly
desired as well as experience working in a team environment with shared document libraries
and calendars.
