ABOUT DINING BY DESIGN
Dining by Design brings together established talent, budding artists and celebrated individuals who create more than 50 three-dimensional dining installations to awe, inspire and delight. This year, Alia Meyer of Jessica Hall Associates and of the SFDC's Design Studio program will design the SFDC-sponsored table.

WEEK FIVE PICTORIAL

Meyer meets with SOS Electric to set the height of the pendants – a very important task since there will be 16 of them hanging over the table.

Rossi Antiques comes baring gifts. Mariana oversees the experts from Rossi as they install the crocodile glass table top material.

Danielle, a welcomed volunteer, helps attach the table skirt made of hand-cut Astek Wallcoverings vinyl.

 
Setting the table. Simplicity is the key with just a few hints of color. The table is really about the room and the setting, the rest is just “icing on the cake”.
